We are currently conducting research to improve size control capabilities following hydrothermal synthesis of carbon quantum dots (the most sustainable way of preparing the nanoparticles used to emit light in liquid crystal displays, cancer cell imaging, and other applications). We are also developing a computational model of the centrifugation process with integrated filtration to investigate further improvements.
We are working with 20+ restaurants to set up the framework for plant-based meal offerings and assisting with advertisement of the new meal options.
We've worked with cities across Massachusetts to produce an analysis of municipal aggregation systems, which is being used to improve structure and advertisement.
We created plantable pinwheels with seed paper and biodegradable hubs to further climate action, education, and peace with the support of Take Action Global. These have been displayed at various colleges and events across the U.S.
We've brought reusable meal and takeout containers to schools and restaurants in collaboration with Recirclable.
We held 3 Sustainability Celebration events attended by 500+ with presenters from 15 environmental organizations to encourage youth engagement in sustainable initiatives.
We're always working with schools and mentoring students to implement compost systems, offer more environmental education opportunities, and create paid roles for students and faculty who are leading green efforts.
